Mai Noman is a Yemeni-British journalist, creative strategist, and storytelling leader with over a decade of experience shaping impactful content for global audiences. She most recently led digital video strategy at BBC Arabic, where she oversaw a multilingual team and commissioned impactful storytelling that resonated across the Middle East and beyond.

A specialist in content strategy, digital transformation, and narrative change, Mai has worked across emerging and established platforms, producing documentaries, explainers, and editorial formats that blend journalistic rigor with creative flair. Her 2022 BBC investigation into a political assassination in the Middle East earned high commendation from the Association for International Broadcasters.

Driven by a mission to amplify underrepresented voices and connect local stories to global audiences, Mai also serves as a consultant for media companies and foundations, advising on digital strategy, Gen Z engagement, and creative partnerships.

She holds a Master’s in Creative & Cultural Entrepreneurship from Goldsmiths, University of London, and an Executive MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Mai is a trustee of One World Media and was recognised on the 2021 Kind Leadership list for her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.
